TPM Throttle, Propeller, Mixture

They work like those of a professional aircraft: the mixture control and the propeller (lever in-out 100mm). Press the button to move them up or down, or turn them to screw them in or out. The throttle of the Cessna C 172 (or any other single-engine aircraft of the same category). Compared to the previous version 2.0 product, this one features remodeled knobs that are even more realistic. This version also has a connector on the back of the box for connecting an external potentiometer, which can be used as a fourth control axis. The TPM is sold with or without suction cups for mounting on a smooth surface, such as a table or desk. All PLA parts are treated with a painting process that ensures their resistance and visual impact. The throttle faceplate is made of 3 mm acrylic, and behind the faceplate is another 5 mm acrylic support. The box has a completely redesigned aluminum bottom, while the lid is acrylic. The three tubes are made of 8 mm aluminum. The three levers are “Push & Pull” only.  The peripheral is Plug&Play and is recognized by FS2020, FSX, Prepar 3D and X-Plane as a normal Joystick, to which you will have to assign the relevant axes of the throttle group.

FAQ

What flight simulator models do you offer and what are their technical specifications?

VirtualSky focuses on simulators for Cessna C152/C172, ideal for basic and advanced training. The simulators include motion control systems with hydraulic/electric actuators, 270-degree visuals, and immersive environments that replicate real weather conditions and flight dynamics. However, the website does not list complete technical details (e.g., types of software, hardware, or resolution specifications).

What are the purchase and rental costs of the simulators?

The site emphasizes savings of up to 92% compared to traditional training (operating cost about €3/hour) but does not provide purchase prices or rental packages. There is also no clear distinction between offers for private individuals and institutions.

How does installation and technical support work?

VirtualSky offers turnkey delivery, complete installation, and maintenance support. The process includes simulator selection, secure delivery, and ongoing assistance. However, details on installation times or geographic coverage of support are not specified.

Are there tests or studies proving the effectiveness of your simulators for training?

The site cites a study from the University of Illinois reporting a 40% reduction in errors during the first real flights thanks to simulator training. However, it does not provide direct links to the study or verifiable testimonials from existing customers.

What are the customization options and compatibility with third-party software?

Although the site mentions cutting-edge technologies (e.g., advanced automation, control via iPad), it does not clarify whether the simulators are compatible with platforms like Microsoft Flight Simulator or X-Plane or if they offer hardware/software customization options.
